I have always believed in saving money and doing something myself. Over the course of my life I have found that just enough determination can really change the world, or in this case save you a couple of dollars. It is after all a bad economy that requires us all to help each other come up with ways in which we can save money and still get things done.

My name is Charles and I love doing things myself. Not that I have anything against the brave men and women who want to help us solve our issues at a price, I am just not the kind of person that thinks everything that is broken in my home requires that I call a professional. My wife can be witness to the many things I have fixed myself at home and saved us a lot of time and money. After all what is the point of having a brain and not learning to do a few things with it?

I do not have a degree in engineering, as a matter of fact I an a literature major. What I know about levers and pulley was taught to me by a book somewhere or the internet and not a professor. I believe in the power of learning by example and so when our sink is broken, I will t6ry and fix it myself. If it does come to worse I can always call a professional!

So welcome to my blog where you will learn how to fix certain things in your home. From diagnosing and fixing your garage door, to learning what to do about your plumbing system and sometimes to the more sensitive matters of landscaping your yard, I am the guy you should be subscribed to. It is an adventure and a mind opening journey that helps you lean all you can. Remember to tell a friend to tell a friend!
